SUMMARY:Yard Work Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Soak up the sun and help us fight off invasive plants on our June yardwork day. We need help spreading mulch and pulling up the incredibly aggressively growing weeds. We’ve planted some native elderberry and pawpaw trees\, and we need to make sure they don’t get overrun! We could also use help transporting some of the newly-uncovered garbage to the transfer station. \nWe’ll be out there from 11am until we fall over.

SUMMARY:Yard Work Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of yardwork at the Circus Forge lot. We’ll be picking up trash\, spreading mulch\, and getting the area ready for use this summer. \nBecause the weather looks cold and miserable over the weekend we’ll be out there Friday afternoon and early evening. We appreciate all the help we can get! \nPlease wear sturdy shoes\, as there is broken glass in some places. Gardening gloves are also helpful. \nWe have some tools and supplies on site\, but more is always better. In particular we need: \n\nWheelbarrows\nTransfer shovels\nLitter grabbers\nContractor trash bags\n\nPlease note there is no running water or electricity at the site. \n
